A personal collection of things I makeFIRST EDITION / 2026

A little more
human.

I’m curious about the space between people and AI.
I design and build things that make that space
a little more personal.

Millie

A proactive companion agent for people who struggle to get started.

Behind the project

Original team cover · August 2026 · Artwork by a teammate

What if the learner didn’t have to start first?

The starting point

The homework is open, but the first move still feels far away. Millie explores how a study companion might make that moment easier to enter.

What we made

A mobile-first prototype where an AI buddy begins a piece of real homework, gets stuck at one useful point, and invites the learner to help.

My part

I led the product direction, interviews, interaction and journey design, and prototype development across frontend and backend. I also coordinated the team. The character and cover artwork were created by a teammate.

What came out of it

A working prototype, prototype testing with six participants, and a Neurodivergent Innovator Award at IncludAI. Long-term learning outcomes remain untested.

WeWay

A social app for solo travelers to find company for part of a trip.

Frontend & product requirements · Team project

Behind the project

A little company. Still your own trip.

The starting point

One interviewee had tried to find a short-term travel companion in Chongqing. She wanted company for part of the trip while keeping the freedom to travel alone.

What we made

A mobile web demo for finding companions and sending structured invitations with a time, place, and clear expectations.

My part

I worked on the frontend and turned the team’s expanding product ideas into a product requirements document the team could build from.

What came out of it

A React and TypeScript frontend, alongside the team’s Go backend. The core need has one direct interview account; broader validation is still open.

ROOM original concept hero: Where Memories Belong, showing a happy dog and memories layered across the same room

ROOM

A spatial memory experience that brings old photos back into real rooms.

Behind the project

Original AI-generated concept hero · October 2026

Some memories belong to a place.

The starting point

A room changes. The photographs stay, but their connection to the place can get lost. ROOM brings old photographs back to where they were taken.

What I made

A room-based memory prototype with a measured spatial model, photographs grouped by location, a timeline, and a calibrated Then/Now view.

My part

Product design and full-stack development, using my own room and photographs as the starting material.

What came out of it

A working prototype and a demo submitted to Tripothon’s application track. Photo grouping was curated manually; automatic album recognition is not implemented.

AI × personal style
A little about meAlways a work in progress.

Hi, I’m Yaobii.
You can call me YY.

I study Artificial Intelligence at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. My work moves between product design and working prototypes, with a growing interest in how people interact with agents over time.

Right now, I’m exploring personal agents through Ariari and AI-assisted styling through Stylla. This collection brings together a few earlier experiments, too.
